«Yesterday evening in St. Petersburg well-known businessman and member of the political council «Yuri Boldyrev’s Group», Dmitri Varvarin was murdered near his home by a shot to the head. According to the facts of the investigation, there were two perpetrators. There are witnesses to the event, the names of which have not been disclosed. D. Varvarin was the president of «Orimi», the largest multi-profile concern in the region which deals, in part, with supply of tea and coffee, overseas shipping, and the trade of building materials. He was considered one of the richest inhabitants of St. Petersburg and was the main sponsor of the election campaign of Yuri Boldyrev, who only days ago announced his bid to run for the office of Governor of the city on the Neva». По данным следствия, убийц было двое. Имеются свидетели происшествия, имена которых держатся в тайне. Д. Варварин был президентом крупнейшего в регионе многопрофильного концерна «Орими», который занимался, в частности, поставками чая и кофе, морскими перевозками, торговлей строительными материалами.
