Born 1963, St.Petersburg, Russia.
Artist and photographer, based in St.Petersburg, Russia. As an artist he worked in different periods with various media - from painting and installations to video art, photography, and sound art. He began to work with photography from 1999. Since the late 90s prefers photography and sound as a most important medium of artistic message. As a photographer, collaborated with AFISHA magazine (St.Petersburg), ELLE, HARPER'S BAZAAR, TIME OUT (St.Petersburg), Sobaka.Ru, NEWSWEEK (Poland), JEUNE AFRIQUE (Paris), etc.
Закончил Ленинградский государственный университет (1985) и Московский заочный университет искусств, факультет живописи и графики (1991). Участвует в художественных выставках с 1989 г. Как художник работал в разные периоды с различными медиа - от живописи и инсталляций до видеоарта, фотографии и саунд-арта. Фотографией стал заниматься с 1999 г. С конца 90-х гг отдает предпочтение в основном фотографии и работе со звуком как с наиболее эффективными средствами художественного высказывания. Как фотограф, работал с такими изданиями, как "Афиша" (Санкт-Петербург), ELLE, HARPER'S BAZAAR, TIME OUT (Санкт-Петербург), Собака.Ру, NEWSWEEK (Польша), JEUNE AFRIQUE (Париж) и др.
